1. My child is already in an international school. How do I know whether transferring is the right decision?
A more famous school is not automatically a better school for every student.
Before recommending a transfer, we consider the student’s curriculum, academic readiness, English level, personality, learning needs, social adjustment and longer-term pathway. If remaining in the current school is the more suitable decision, we will advise the family honestly.
2. How do you determine which international school is genuinely suitable for my child?
We look beyond rankings and reputation. We compare the student’s profile with each school’s curriculum, learning environment, admissions expectations, subject pathways, student-support structure and culture.
Our role is to help families build a realistic school list that includes ambition, suitability and sensible alternatives—not simply submit applications to the most well-known schools.
3. My child’s grades, English or activities are not yet strong enough. Should we still apply?
We recommend assessing readiness before paying multiple application fees or rushing into an application.
We review the student’s school reports, academic gaps, English readiness, interests, experiences and ability to express themselves. We then advise whether the student should apply now, strengthen specific areas first, or consider a different entry point or school strategy.
4. Can you guarantee admission to UWCSEA, Tanglin, Dulwich, SAS or SJII?
No consultant can responsibly guarantee an offer because the final decision belongs to the school and may depend on assessment results, available places and cohort considerations.
We strengthen the areas within the family’s control: school selection, timing, application positioning, documentation, student profile, written responses, interviews, assessments and school communication. If the student is unsuccessful or placed in an applicant pool, we also help the family evaluate the next step and alternative options.
